There are a lot of world-class golf courses in the province of Girona. The courses are beautifully designed; with some of the most spectacular views- either of the mountains or the Costa Brava and the sea. The golf courses offer facilities for learners as well as children; clubhouses with restaurants, hiring out manual and electric trolleys, golf clubs and buggies.
A good place to go for a complete listing of all Girona golf courses is the tourist information office in Girona centre. At the Girona Golf clubs listed below it’s not necessary to be a member in order to play, but on weekends, advance reservation is necessary
Girona Golf
An 18 hole course with a 72 par. The course was designed by an English architect called F.W Hawtree, and has stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It’s very peaceful, and there’s a small residential area next to the clubhouse.

Club De Golf Costa Brava is open to non-members although between 8.00 am and 11.30 am is reserved for members. The handicap requirement is a minimum of 36.
